look I KNOW that by the series finale at the end of September things will be all sorted but this is so FRUSTRATING that ep better be entirely devoted to Anne going "I am such a goose, OF COURSE I LOVE HIM" to make up for this

Anne you can't actually demand that you stay friends with Gilbert after turning him down like that JFC (decades later Gilbert will be telling his grandkids about how hard it was to get Anne to talk to him, let alone marry him, and Anne will simply go "oh, that old story again?")

Man, Phil's right about Anne: she's still all in her imagination about what love is. To be fair, Anne's only 20, so this is to be expected, but in the meantime the show's gonna crank up the suspense until ep 24, won't it

I'm frustrated as hell, but at the same time, I *really* can't judge Anne for this because I, too, was once a college student with poor judgment.
