We don't talk about that arsenal part we just pretend to be better cuz it's not oil money
lol
Last time I was in a Walmart was probably 03 in college. It was around 11pm and we wanted to buy a pack of playing cards. Took about 30 minutes for someone to open the locked case then we had to wait for their dial up modems to upload the days sales data at midnight to checkout. Terrible company.
They also take life insurance out on their most basic workers, and when they pass Walmart gets the money. The clerks, janitors, etc. It’s normal for companies to do this for big-wigs. (At least they did this years ago when I heard about it.)
Yup. A half century or more of fucking over everyone. IIRC the company gets in effect about a 5 billion per year subsidy because their full time workers don't make enough and get welfare. They even help the employees to apply!
Yep. Such dregs.
I'll just have to keep my two decade+ personal boycott going.
We do so many road trips like there are places in the country there ain't no other option but I certainly avoid...
Yeah, they did a good job of destroying the competition. Hell the only reason we went there for the playing cards is no one else was open in Stockton at 11pm.
On my last road trip (MD to AZ, 3.5 days) I hit a Costco ahead of time so I'd only have to supplement food/drink/snacks with convenience stores, etc. Totally got to avoid all the Walmarts I saw in the Midwest.
Tbh Ive been there once in the last 5 years and I bought 2 things.
