Most elderly people with health conditions have various bruising or discoloration on their hands, feet, body, face, just about anywhere. He’s old and in poor health. Period.

Nope. When we bruise, it isn’t always in the same spot. The bruises fade. They don’t last weeks or months. They tend to be smaller.

It’s not bruises to begin with. Most likely purpura of some kind or indication of a specific health issue.

There are different ways outputs presents. For me it was a “rash” of reddish/purplish spots from foot to neck which disappeared after a few months. One particular spot created a scar that is still visible.

It is bruising. Bruises have all kinds of causes but they are all bleeding under the skin. Ecchymosis.
