Fun fact, they're actually not storks, but closely related to Pelicans!

I actually said to my missus earlier that they remind me a bit of pelicans.🙂 In a shitty world, they cheere up daily now.

If you're in the UK and haven't already, I think it's worth making a trip to Exmoor Zoo to see them! Even though they're very large birds, in person is always kind of... Unexpected.

I'm in Australia on the coast so see pelicans quite often. One day I will get back to England to have a look around. Pelicans tend to be bigger than people expect, I do see some similar movement & behaviours.

Here in FloriDUH we have pelicans, flamingos, sandhill crane, great blue herons among several other large sized species that live or pass through here. All very beautiful to see.

We see a white face heron daily, they are quite beautiful, also plenty of birds of prey. The Great blue Herons are beautiful that I've seen here on bluesky too.
