I saw them when I used to dive. But one of the most crazy things I ever saw was a the seabed full of garden eels in Thailand. Like being on another planet. So ethereal and gorgeous. Never got a decent photo of them 😢

Last night I 'rescued' (removed) a juvenile banded water snake from my pool. Totally different animal, but still this reminded me of it. The little guy was only 12" & was panic-squirming like crazy for a minute or two, until he realized I wasn't going to eat him. But no bites & no musk. Nature 💚
