Exactly. And I don’t buy the “Trump said he’d deport only those convicted of crimes” stuff. That’s not what Trump said at rallies. He cruelly re-categorized all immigrants as “criminal” just by being here.

And that's been the Republican position for decades - that every undocumented person is by definition a criminal because of their "illegal" status.
