Just went thru a “DUI Checkpoint” They pulled over some cars and let others thru. Every single one pulled to the side was a person of color. #FuckICE AND #FuckCops Trust no one. I’m so pissed. Van Nuys. West of Woodley on Roscoe. Be careful, folks.

What organization was running the checkpoint? Was it like sheriff or state patrol contacting with CBP, ICE, or HSI in background? I'm curious because if you are within 100 miles of any border, including maritime, then the feds can run border operations. I'm listening for increases in occurances.

It looked like local police, but then some other people were also present, like a few not in the same uniforms. We are about 160 miles from the border.

If you are in Van Nyes, then you are ~ 20 miles from the ocean, which counts as a border in the eyes of the feds. So you may be 160 from the Mexican border, but CBP looks at our coastal borders too. Be careful out there.

Been there, same experience. The police in my town only ever pull over brown people. I've lived here for 13 years and not once have I ever seen a cop pull over a white person. It's disgusting.
