This is a lie. Only first $25k on tips are exempt. Taxes on SSI still in effect with an additional standard deduction capped at $6k for seniors. Overtime exemption also phases out. Not everyone is eligible for the exemption on tips

It's not actually "no tax on Social Security", it's an exemption. If you're under 65 or already low income (many seniors get SS of less than $1200/month) it won't lower your taxes. If you earn more than a certain amount (e.g., a couple with one still working filing jointly), you may not qualify.
