I am really worried about these marches/demonstrations in the streets of DC. Under DC law, you have to stay on the sidewalk unless you have a permit. This is an invitation for the federal goons to move in. It is not going to end well.

Also this is very much a families with kids protest - this is not one where the NG would pull up and intimidate the crowd. Folks doing community protection work & after dark are more likely to be brutalized.

I did crowd counting / protest surveying research assistant work for a few years in grad school; Iβd say at its peak the crowd was around 2k people.

While they are in DC they should get tickets for the Kennedy Center Honors event - and then not show up. A half filled audience when heβs there to bask in glory would really get under his skin.
