Al Jazeera is worse than Fox (propaganda) news when it comes to obvious bias.

Al Jazeera isn't propaganda. It is telling the news from a non-western perspective. Those are some uncomfortable truths when the info is not centered on our perspective. Similar to how the US is not exactly covered glowing in Europe. The Arab world sees things much differently than the West

Makes sense to me. Too many Americans think that we are the center of the universe & we aren't. Now more than ever we are becoming less relevant. All our soft power is gone so what would make them see us as anything other than a nation under authoritarian rule?

Absolutely Al Jazeera provides the truth that is sorely lacking here in US news and local and international.

Indeed they do see things differently. They see jihadism as a legitimate goal. Your virtue signaling is deeply misguided and pathetic.

Precisely Russ. American television previously included Al Jazeera in their lineups. Quite different perspective to round out thinking. No longer. MegaMedia Corps don’t want US citizens exposed to varying points of view now.

America not being Anglo-centered is why we got Trump, so this fits, right?

America is Anglo-centric & that's our problem. We got Trump because white voters can't do what's right because they refuse to give their racism, bigotry & misogyny.

Well said, Russ. The culture of the United States is not the culture of the world and this is often misunderstood because of ethnocentrism. While this is often not intended, it is important to understand the context of “news” within a given world view.

Whatever. Does that excuse their murders? Even though it's highly dangerous to report in war zones, the press is understood to be noncombatants. They were intentionally targeted and that's chilling.

I certainly don’t intend to attempt to explain what literary bias is to someone who is not open about seeing the entire situation. Enjoy the little world you live in.
