yeah but X is openly insane, you know what you are getting there. here you get batshit insane people posting poems about how you are a terrible person for not posting Trump negativity 24/7. here you get people posting about an unrelated sporting events with all the replies going “but fascism?!”

I don’t mean to generalize about Gen X, but when they are raging assholes, their “I’m the only person who gets it!” core belief is always followed by vaguely noir derision, calling you bucko or little boy or whatever.

Their use of "hollyweirdo" and "idiot box" really tell you everything you need to know about this person.

It’s just so strange that the “little boys” he’s trying to dunk on are just millennials in their 30s and 40s. Those are full-ass adults, “bucko!”

It would be easy for me to forget that people 15 years younger than me are adults except that I have a job that requires me to be around people.

These people don’t have that reminder that adulthood stays the same, but we keep getting older. It’s been wild seeing the age gap between myself and graduates get bigger and bigger every year until I’m closer in age to more visiting parents.
