That's very kind of you, Kerry. It would have been nice. We're Heading to Sheffield, where I think we'll be spread fairly thinly. We haven't seen a lot of people since before Covid 19. We have to go to TGI Friday to see one part of the clan. I'm not sure if we've ever been to one of these before
I was in Sheffield last Nov to see our granddaughter who is at uni there. I could walk out to the peak district. I was in the EndCliffe area very leafy.

A tad jealous. Can't wait until I can visit again. However, she is in Kazakhstan, so her mum brother and I will be going there for the half term holidays. Next September, she's back for final year, so I'll be back.
It's a little known fact that from Hunters Bar, you can walk (mostly) on public footpaths all the way to Scotland. I've done it.

The farmers are scurrying around like crazy. I'm staying off the roads. We have 'interesting' weather incoming. Heavy rainstorms/ hail and very strong winds forecast for later this afternoon / evening / overnight. Ive taken all the sun sails down and put them away Its hot, muggy and utterly still.

Im not sure what we're going back to, either. I think it will have changed a lot. At least where we're staying is a leafy suburb, where people wear vegan shoes and hug trees, so we should be OK.
