They take pieces of the full balance every few days & whatever paid when you first got here is just an authorization hold. You have a balance the whole time that youβre here & they siphon chunks of it during that time. I have always paid up front. No transparency was given. π§΅
Not only that, we do still have to retain long term temporary shelter until we can get a permanent home. Idk how long that will take but I need for it to happen immediately & I am trying to urge it along. Month 6 or 7 of being unhoused is fucking predatory & unsustainable. I am seething. π§΅
