Isn't it McSweeney strategy of shoving the Overton window to the far right that has opened up the space for Farage? - he's even looking mainstream for goodness sake. Starmer seems comfortable dealing with the international stuff in a lawyerly way but I'm not convinced he's driving the UK policy?

I get the same impression about Starmer. He's doing well balancing an extremely difficult international situation. In the UK it's a mess. The good things he has done aren't being given the publicity they should. Meanwhile, the many mistakes are amplified and doubled down on instead of being fixed.

Labour's problem is everything they are doing in the UK seems to benefit Reform - they seem politically incompetent.
