So?? They are still as relevant today as they were then. The landscape may not be static, but what makes NYC & its residents what they are hasn't changed. Lee, ultimately, understands this.

It wasn't a generalization, it was a description of this specific movie. if you haven't seen it, i'm not sure what we're fighting over. I don't know what's condescending about saying "see the movie and let me know what you think."
