Curious about a topic related to the red helmets. There’s a fair bit of dislike for them on X, The Everything App, and I wonder if a majority of that is from fans who were too young for the SB years and only relate red helmets with the early drought years and Alouettes jerseys
You’re probably right. I appreciate they went with the 90s helmets and not some weird hybrid of 90s and Donohoe Era helmets.
I post regularly on X and all I've seen is positive comments about the red helmets. Most were upset when it was originally leaked that white & Silver were going to be featured. Most I've seen are overjoyed over having the red helmets back.
I've been a Bills fan since 1980. I like the idea of red helmets, just not the memories of the SBs. I don't care what helmets the Bills wear as long as they win a SB.

I’ll put my hand up and say I’m 30. My first sports memory is home run throwback. I love the red helmets. All my memories are of drought teams and I love them. The kids these days don’t appreciate where they came from.

Sure. Anyone under 35 wasn’t old enough to know a world where the red helmets brought good vibes and the current set is the best thing they’ve ever known. I’m only mildly annoyed by the half measure and mixing it with the current unis. Add a navy pinstripe to the new red helmet stripe please thanks
I love them, but I'm also probably the target audience for them - I was in middle school during the super bowl years.
