IKEA definitely
Furniture store. I will get...the FANCIEST COMFIEST COUCH. And finally get actually correct sized picture frames for my weird aspect ratio art.
A guitar shop in Nashville.
IKEA, local bike shop or buying a safe at the safe store.
Powell’s City of Books. With a number of my friends! Portland roadtrip!
And they'll even ship them home for you!
And I would. But there also something special about taking a large bag of books back your hotel and spreading them around to bask in. 😂
12th fret in Toronto
Rudy's Music in Manhattan. Buying this and I'd have money left over for a nice amp.
A store for foto equipment.
Tough, because I'd want all the indulgences: Militària BCN in Barcelona Powell's City of Books in Portland Chicago Center for the Print Hobby Bunker in Wakefield, MA

I’d spend it all on really nice suits. $10,000 worth of most things would be more than I needed. A few killer suits would be a great addition and last me forever.
Independent local lumber and hardware supply, Costco to donate to food banks, habitat for humanity.

Going to the friendly local game store because I can finally afford Warhammer
There’s this Black-Owned clothes store near me. I’m going there.

Used electric vehicle. At that price, it's probably one of those neighborhood electrics, or a badly used Leaf, or a really souped-up ebike, but we don't badly need a second car, and the supply of small used pickup trucks has pretty much vanished.
Costco.
Macys
Probably the absolute best nursery in all of West North Carolina, Winding Stair Gap Nursery to get loads of native, edible and medicinal plants for myself but also elders, disabled and poor folk in my community
I am not going to be able to carry that many books back home. Can I use some of the $10K for a UHaul?
You also need the U-Haul for the detour to the bookshelf store. I'm no longer doing paper books in quantity, and even after the Great Bookshelf purge I've still got enough books in the attic to fill the current shelves 1-2x over.
The local feed store. They have *everything* and are in my community.
Not even a question. lockefordsausage.com
Nearest bike shop that carries Tern bikes.
I really don't know on this, I am in the UK so would it be $10K converted? Selfridges

My local indie bookstore. (Battenkill Books)
That's like a lifetime of getting whatever I want at thrift stores
I am going to a tailor to get custom clothing made.
A tailor in Hong Kong, if I can spend part of the $10K on airfare :-)
Great choice. Probably is, I would immediately drip some spaghetti sauce, syrup, mustard etc on them 😋
Either a jewelry store or art store for art supplies or both
Warhammer 40k. It'll last about seven minutes.
