Jeffries, Schumer and the rest of them are gutless pinheads who think they can fight guns and tanks by adjusting the political algorithm just a smidge. The thing is fucking HERE, and they refuse — or are just too terrified — to see it.

I lack the power, the tools, and access to the information needed to formulate and execute an actionable solution, if there is one. But I desperately want to be led by those who do -- and they can start by naming all of this clearly, and by dumping the enervating, over-triangulated poli-babble.

"Naming all of this clearly"? What's unclear about any of this? We didn't elect enough Dems, so we're fucked. The American people voted for fascism. Nothing the Dem leaders in Congress can do about that except to try to win the House back in the midterms.

It's all perfectly clear -- unless you're listening to humps like Schumer and Jeffries talk about distractions and the price of fucking avocados. This wouldn't be the first time a desperate opposition had to develop ways to hobble power. Fight everything; cooperate with nothing. Fight very dirty.

They're right. Trump is always creating distractions to cover his power grabs, and the rising prices will hit Americans very hard. It's important for Dems to keep reminding people that Trump is making their lives more expensive. The economy was one of the top issues for voters in 2024.

I don’t believe that. History explodes with examples of the feckless and the weak who would prefer to believe they’re not on fire when they’re actually very much on fire, and who therefore turn to familiar tools, like condemning the flames melting their skin as a distraction.
