My mom would have been thrilled to know that the actresses who played Jennifer (secretly her favorite character) in Search For Tomorrow and Etta in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are friends in real life! She adored actresses who played strong female characters (and so do I!!)

My mother was also addicted to Search for Tomorrow when I was a child. I remember Mary Stuart as Joanne Tate. Many years later I worked with a woman who knew Ms. Stuart and talked so highly of her, especially her concern for unhoused people in New York City, where she lived.
