Except the version of this story I heard earlier this hour on WNYC specifically said that they do not believe the collision was a targeted attack.
www.cbs19.tv/article/news... It was not. It happened after he stopped to help the DV attackee, and then his friend drove away and got rear ended almost right away - the cops helping with the DV situation saw the accident.
Maybe it’s the fog of war, but I still feel like I’m missing something. Not saying I believe the collision was a targeted attack, just trying to figure out the part about Giuliani being where he was and why he felt he had to give these specific DV details to explain it.
The first article I read mentioned the cops were already on scene and explained why, so that gave me the context. I agree that devoid of context it’s weird.
