Geese making noise outside, as they're preparing to fly away south, and take summer with them 😔

The last of the swifts here are about to leave for Africa. They are the youngsters hatched this year, and dozens have been swooping near my window, hopefully looking for somewhere to nest next year. I will miss their little screeches and fly-bys over winter.
