My lungs are scarred from the bases to the mid lobes due to covid. If the PPE had been sent to the LA ER where I worked, my chances of infection would have been lower. As an RN I had no choice but to work using either used & dirty PPE, fake PPE, or a trash bag.

I've never had the covid vaccine because of medical risks that effected several people in my family. I never got the covid a good friend of mine got it she was unvaccinated, I was really worried as she had just been in my house and it knocked her down for a couple of weeks I felt really bad for her!

Oh no! 😕 Yeah, COVID is not fun. Even with the vaccine, it took me a week to deal with the first symptoms and one more week to fully become "myself" again. Luckily, it never kicked me so hard I spent days in bed, but it was difficult to breathe at times due to the phlegm.

I always got the shot ever since 2020, simply because I'm always at large events with more than 20 people in attendance, like LARPs and concerts. Plus, since I'm not immunocompromised and have friends who are, I wanted to keep them safe. It's such an awful virus.

Yeah, it definitely affects your blood oxygen levels. I was out of breath frequently while barely doing anything. I workout on a daily basis, so I think I'd call myself fit(ish), and even walking up one small set of stairs was enough to wind me while I had COVID.
