Solid red is Trump 2016-Trump 2020-Trump 2024. Blue is Clinton-Biden-Harris. Other colors represent a switch during one of those elections. Not sure where you are, but no counties in Eastern Washington switched. It wasn't hard to convince them that Harris would be worse.

The majority of voters in those Eastern Washington Counties aren't farmers. It's only a small fraction of people. Dryland farming requires 10's of 1000's of acres to generate profit. It's poor white trash who vote for Trump in huge numbers there.
Then those farmers should have thrown in with the democrats. They should have had Biden/Harris and Harris/Walz signs all over their prodigious properties. But they didn’t. I wonder why…
