Everyone who sends me these: Yeah, I don't know why there are no reprints, you should take that question to Wizards of the Coast. (No, I don't get any of this money.)

A sales page for a hardcover copy of The Devil You Know by Erin M. Evans. Price: $200

Drizzt just got a nice new reprint with brand spanking new covers (no shade about it, I love that series) so I feel like a brimstone angels box set should be a no-brainer, considering its quality and popularity?? We have lots of new FR fans who are interested in tieflings and the hells!

I mean "Drizzt-popular" is a bar NOBODY else can cross. Partly because Salvatore hit on something people love and he's an excellent story-teller, but also because those books got the support to make sure they were seen.

I don't think WotC actually feels like Brimstone Angels is/was popular, tbh. Which you know, I feel like reality repudiates, but that's business.

And that is such a shame too, because if their social media team checked any subreddit related to the realms (r/drizzt, bg3, forgottenrealms etc.) the main answer given to "What should I read next?" is ALWAYS Brimstone Angels. Like, word of "mouth" is important and the people crave the hard copy 😭

I follow writers off all genres, though I write historical/mythical fiction. Who's your publisher?

Oh - this is exactly what happened with the other RuneScape novels, by TS Church... They've been out of physical print for a bit now, so prices for physical copies are ludicrous. Luckily they're still available on Kindle, but it doesn't feel the same as having physical books...

I had physical copies but gave them away to a friend visiting from Hungary, incorrectly assuming I'd just be able to buy more in the future. Now I'm definitely going to hold on to my physical copies of the new RS novels. If only I could have the full set of six...

The paperbacks are more ludicrous since the MSRP is like $8 and the sell price is routinely over $70. I've seen it at $120. So I guess if you find one cheap, snap it up.

But the sudden resurgence of people reading these series because they go "What books feel like Baldur's Gate 3???" and get pointed to Brimstone Angels means I see more and more of how the resale market, uh, reflects the desire for physical copies, let's say.
