Those who say that the killing in Gaza is the fault of Hamas are as wrong as those who say that the rise in antisemitism worldwide is the fault of Israel. Those committing war crimes are responsible for war crimes. Those committing genocide are guilty of genocide.

Hamas is guilty of both war crimes (including the routine use of its own subjects as human shields) and (attempted) genocide. Not to forget the crime against peace it committed with its unprovoked attack on October 7; as such, Hamas is guilty for the killing in Gaza.
