Pretty remarkable that he actually did make significant inroads with Hispanic voters in 2024 and a couple months later he’s getting close to wrecking the GOP brand amongst the same group possibly for decades

My deepest fear when Trump took office was that he would pivot on immigration and do amnesty and lock in Latinos as loyal GOP voters for a generation like Dems did with black voters and the CRA

That was never a possibility, at least not since Trump won on promises of ethnic cleansing in 2016. I truly think the GOP have genuinely bought into the great replacement bullshit and think they can just brute force their way to a new permanent majority.

I sort of agree he might be able to pull that off? like obviously he wouldn’t tell them that’s what he was doing but since they’re not in contact with empirical reality it might work
