It is true that we are lighting virtual government functions on fire and it will take decades to recover. But this administration is historically unpopular, AND it’s never going to get more popular than it is right now.

Dictatorship have no legitimacy other than popularity. The courts and (for some fucking reason) the media will try to project legitimacy onto this regime, but even they can’t stem the tide. To paraphrase @golikehellmachine.com, they will not break us, they will break upon us.
