He tried to explain that people could still get them. Like really? Does he realize the pharmacies aren't distributing them while waiting for some type of directive? And many won't qualify for them. Maybe with a prescription? No one knows what is going on.
I'm 65+ and can't get it in NY, pharmacies aren't scheduling it "due to restrictions"
They don’t have directives yet, so they’re stuck waiting. Some states will be worse than others who will be able to get the shots and if insurance will cover. 65+ insurance will cover unless it changes. Others are more confusing and may need a prescription for some insurance plans to cover.
I will be seeing my PCP on Thursday and will see what she says about it, maybe I can get a prescription from her to have just in case 🤞
I'm going to make an appointment too
You shouldn’t need one. The pharmacies may not have the new vaccines yet.
