Did you being armed make it harder for them to deport people to El Salvador? Or to terrorize Los Angeles? Or DC? How will it make it harder for them to declare martial law?

The only reason it’s not been worse is because they know people are armed, otherwise they’d have steamrolled right through day one. In any case do you want firefights popping off sporadically? I think it’s fortunate this country is committed to exhausting all peaceful efforts before turning to war.

You honestly believe that they're scared to declare martial law just because Joe Sixpack is armed? The only thing that scares them, is the prospect of unity. Armed or not. Left, Right, Center, rising up together and flooding the streets in a general strike.

I can assure you they aren’t afraid of unarmed unity, look at how they brutalize these protestors and get away with whatever they want. Unity is no doubt essential, but it’ll also take arms. Can you afford to strike? I can’t. These billionaires can wait us out, we don’t have the support in place.

Nope. Look at Asia and Europe. When the people are united and committed... and millions flood the streets outnumbering cops 100 to 1... that's when they capitulate. But like you said, nobody can afford to do it, and only a third could be bothered to anyway...

They also don’t have the bloodthirsty racist militarized police force with an unlimited budget like we do, one that love’s punching down. Asia seems to be doing fine for now, Korea did great even in response to that coup, but Europe is right behind us with far-right authoritarianism creeping in.

Most Liberals think that voting harder for Dems will fix this, ignoring the fact that Dems have been expanding the militarized police state including cop-cities for decades. And this admin. would love nothing more than some rag-tag liberal militias to justify martial law. They want it.

It’s going to happen regardless, Trump needs it to stay in power so there’s no form of resistance he won’t use to justify it, assuming he doesn’t stage something. We had 12 million people march for no kings, and nothing got better. They’ve hijacked the democratic process and desecrated the law.

One Saturday in nine months is resistance? You need millions marching 7 days a week for months on end. But the "American Dream" is a trap. Everybody has a mortgage or rent to pay and you'll never get the sustained numbers needed. It's over, so don't encourage other people's kids to take up guns.
