Very unlikely, they’ve been sitting idle for over 90 years - that’s a lot of harsh Maine winters!

A fun project for a group of mechanics/engineers

Daunting! They're located 2 hours from the nearest town over old logging roads (17 miles of which are currently in horrendous condition). We were without cell reception for about 6 hours. The nearest bit of civilization with electricity is 35 miles away.

Would be fun to get it running again. The great part about alot of old tech is that it is mechanical and as long as the supporting mechanical structure is brought back to decent enough specifications then it will run just as when it was first ran. I should have been a mechanical engineer.
