What would be more terrifying is living in Gaza over the past year as Israel systemically killed off tens of thousands of people, starved those that remained, destroyed homes and is now trying to claim Gaza as their own.

Possibly being genocided after 70 years of oppression? Or bring held hostage and rather than trying to free me, my government indiscriminately bombed the place where I was being held as they used my kidnapping as an excuse to commit genocide. Those would be worse.
