I won't be mad if he's elected, but don't put your faith in Social Democrats. They only want some Social programs, not Socialism. They have given into fascist demands in the past too. He might be the best option at this time, but I wouldn't put so much faith there.

I thought those were the same? Regardless, they don't want real Socialism. I could be wrong, but I don't think it will lead to real change. Still, I'm not going to stand in their way if they help ease suffering for the working class even a little. I just don't think its anything we cheer too much.

social democracy is capitalism that's slightly less bad technically democratic socialism is just socialism that's democratic but sometimes it's used as a synonym for social democracy
