There is a bioluminescent bay that you can kayak to in Puerto Rico that is really cool. They don’t give you a lot of time in the bay, but it’s worth it. You can stir up the plankton activating the glow. It glows for a bit, then settles to the bottom to recharge, and cycle continues.
Could be genius poster for a film about revenge and retribution..! Or a lovely program about plankton, narrated by #BertieCarvel
This reminds me of Jamaica's Luminous Lagoon...which I haven't seen in over thirty years, sigh
