Why? Zelensky wasn’t there to agree to anything. Trump said there would be no deal. The meeting was to ascertain Putin’s ask. Now Trump is meeting with Zelensky on Monday to do the same. Then there will be three party talks. It’s incredibly ignorant to think Trump was pursuing a deal in Alaska.
