The Pacers add center depth, bringing in Jay Huff. Cheap price, but on paper a fit: www.forbes.com/sites/tonyea...

Don’t believe he has been re-signed by Indiana yet I believe they extended the qualifying offer Although I expect him to be re-signed and he may be the starting C when all is said and done But I think as of right now Jay Huff is the only C on the 2025-26 roster

Jackson is not a starter and might not be ready for the season opener. Huff is not a starter either. Pacers are not contenders for the foreseeable future

Wrong. When Ty comes back at full strength Pacers are contenders again, regardless of who is playing at center

The question was the upcoming season. I believe I Jac will get the chance. They just resigned Bradley and now this guy but it doesn't matter. Next year is lost season.

Didn’t have to be. Best part is the season after that is too! And probably the one after that

That’s a joke right? I respect Ty a lot, but he’s not Jordan or LeBron and he can’t defend centers. He also can’t get into the paint if there’s a center waiting for him since there’s no spacing Also ruins Pascal’s game So, no they’re not

What?! Ty isn’t one of the top two players in the history of the league?! And he can’t defend centers?! And, you’re right, I don’t know how Spicy was even an all nba player and Champion without Turner. Your Myles hype and underestimation of Hali ruins any credibility of basketball knowledge you had

underestimation of Hailburton? Read it and learn. This will help you learn abt what's about to happen to the Pacers over the next 3 season until they give and "re-tool" thef5.substack.com/p/the-nba-ha...

Cool article but i see nothing that proves Pacers are going to suck without MT and a fully healthy Hali. If anything, it says good depth is important, overpaying Myles would absolutely jeopardize that. Unless you have an all nba center, its the easiest position to replace. MT never an all star

Ok you didn’t say suck so let me rephrase, nothing in this article convinces me Pacers won’t return to championship caliber IF Hali returns to his level. Also doesn’t convince me MT is in for a steady decline now that he doesn’t have the best PG in the world to play with

Of course the Pacers aren’t championship caliber without a top 10 center. Centers are vital to defense and Myles had unique offensive skills which complimented both Ty and Pascal. They won’t suck but their championship window closed. It was a terrible blunder
