They’re absolutely humans. Don’t put words in my mouth. You’re all saying that I need to support candidates who support trans people’s rights and I agree with you. But you’re willing to sacrifice ALL of the other causes you “support” if one cause isn’t included on day one. Work towards progress.

No. I refuse to shoot anybody. The problem here is that you think of Niemöller's poem as a list of people you can throw to the tigers before they come to you. I have read my history, however, and know that the only repones to this question is, "you have to shoot us all bitch"

You see Niemöller’s poem as the only option. If trans people are the communists in this comparison, wouldn’t you want Socialists, Jews, and Unionists, to have rights so they can fight for the communists? Or would you prefer they all lose their rights leaving no one to fight for you?
