As I’ve made clear, I don’t want to vote for a transphobe. If Newsom is the general nominee, then I’d settle for him over a Republican and regression. You want me to abandon all of my other principles if one policy I support isn’t met by the eventual nominee.

That’s funny, all my other principles stem from the belief that intrinsically all people are entitled to the same rights, not just the few who are deemed worthy at whatever given political moment. If the DNC decides to put forth a candidate who does not share that value, i will not vote for them
