You didn't read the article or watch the game. The pitcher has an obvious grip shift when preparing to throw certain pitches (it was visible on broadcast). The runner on 2nd was relaying the grip change in real-time to the batter. Completely legal within the rules of the game, Cora wasn't involved.

But irrelevant in the context of this "incident". The Astros won the World Series *by illegally stealing signs*. They have no right to get pissy over someone "legally stealing" signs.

Players get pissy when the other team steals their signs. Always have. Sometimes there are plunkings because of it. Saying certain players don’t have the right to get pissy because of their laundry is stupid. Are Giants players allowed to get pissy because of the 1951 electronic sign stealing?

Nobody from the 1951 team are still actively playing. The Astros still have players from 2017 on the roster, and a handful of other teams (including the Red Sox) have players who were involved in the cheating scandal.
