Clearly I was not. Get two guys that can run early in the game and don’t even try to run is the level of urgency their manager instills in them. If they get swept he should be fired tomorrow night.

I think both Cashman and Boone should’ve been fired long ago. It’s clear their plan doesn’t work, the players are sucking and nothing changes. They’ll limp through the remainder of the season and I’ll be shocked if they make the playoffs at all

I have no issue with cash. I do think he should reconfigure the analytics team. I don’t think they’re very good on shifts and pitch selection. Cash is only as good as Steinbrenner lets him by in my opinion

Yeah, I got mixed feelings there but you’re right that Steinbrenner has to make the call on management. It really just seems like nothing they’re doing is working but they just keep doing the same thing expecting a different result. Today was absolutely awful on top of yesterday
