Odd you didn’t say it when they just won 7 of 8. I think that Boone sets the tone of not being aggressive in big games creates a lack of urgency and makes guys try to do too much.

I’m just saying you only chime in when it’s easy to. This is 100% on the coaching. Not even necessarily Boone. Travis Chapman might be the worst coach in baseball.

It really isn’t. The talent is there. Especially with the additions on the bench and at third. Their bullpen should be very good but the pitch selection is terrible. They only run when they’re ahead and you can see how much difference that makes in level of play.

Not really sure why. They have speed and power and guys that can play multiple positions extremely well. The only glaring hole is Stanton and he’s been their best hitter by a lot the last month. Volpe is a product of bad coaching, talent is there but they let him come out of mechanics constantly
