The old guard certainly, but I think more and more Dems are becoming enlightened and leaving that crap behind. Basically, we’re becoming a bit more independent?

Sure. Yet, the people who are actually affected by policies should be the ones creating them, rather than leaving it to elites, politicians, or corporate interests.

Maybe, but what I see is that we can only elect politicians who have been filtered by the establishment and who will cave in once in government to the pressure of the elite.
