Explain to me why the article lacks credibility, and why the New Republic has left it up if this is the case. What about the article was contradicted by the formal case file? Or are you just parroting (possibly) biased reporting of a document none of us have read?

Marinakis, a politician in Piraeus for the last decade, who “converted the city into a virtual feudal holding” gets cleared by the Piraeus Magistrate’s Council after a six-year investigation, and this news gets reported by Greek media outlets that he owns through his media empire.

You then read it off Wikipedia, or maybe even Marinakis’ own website, and expect me to just go, oh fair play.

You’ve gone looking for stuff I can only think because you somehow have swallowed the crap that he’s wronged your club, and when you look for stuff like you have, there’s a likely big dose of confirmation bias. If you step away and take stock, you might see it’s a bit pathetic and not a good look.
