So so many other chemicals do just as much damage but are allowed all over the world. It will doom us.

I'm reminded of a common consumer-grade adhesive available in the U.S. and Canada. In Canada, the solvent it is made with has been changed to one less flammable. However, that same solvent has stronger indications of causing cancer than the one used in the U.S.
