My only hope is the evil system will remain in place, but they don't have another figure as cult worshipped as trump to front it. Much harder to sustain in theory.

I’d like to be hopeful, but if 2010-2025 has shown me anything it’s that it’ll probably still go their way. Anyone else is just trump without the madness. Competent if you know what I mean. They’ve been getting their own way, they won’t give that up. I mean they’ve already ok’d a rapist.

True - No one's voting Vance in for a second term. The Dems don't seem to have a viable candidate though as Newsom isn't great is he? And Mamdani isn't even NYC mayor yet. Then you look to us and we've no viable, realistic options unless something majorly changes in the next few years.

This is how right-wing we are right now. That local poll about flags yesterday is 58% in favour (of racism) and that's in Brighton. One guy even said that was too much "as we are like London full of foreigners." Tho living in Brighton has taught me it's nowhere near as liberal as you might think.

This is the really terrifying bit. We will fight to get each other through the horror but so many are already doing all they can and society still functions. Where are we going to be in 3, 4, 5, years? I was made for frivolity not fascism but I will fight while I can.

It’s going to get to a point where something has to give. These people are just miserable hateful bastards 24/7. So how does that not drain them? Then the rest of us are made to feel miserable because of their actions. Like it can’t go on like this forever surely.

I cut everyone like this out of my life, my only exposure is online and I look at no Uk news sources. My natural being is 'camp lady Santa', but this world is crushing me. I try everyday and omg their hate is exhausting! I have a very dark side to me (for those who deserve it) and I'm scared.
