After doing layoffs two weeks ago I have now had three people respond to me asking them to meet via Teams with “if you’re going to fire me can you please just tell me in the chat so I’m prepared.” I fuckin’ hate this lmao.

Having gone through a multi wave layoff scheme at a huge company y I can tell you that death by 1000 cuts is immensely destructive to the company and to the wellbeing of its workers. My advice to them: get out now, if you can. And do not believe the severance promises.
