It's no mistake why the continued existence and social acceptance of trans people scares misogynists to their core. They know what it portends for the rickety hierarchy they sit atop.
Absolutely spot on, to further that observation; I think most bad behaviour comes from believing that people cannot change, where hatrad is a reflection of resistance to self-growth, forming a rigid identity. Inflated egos happen the same way, from the need to be something, without changing.
