Heather McPherson MP @heathermcpherson.bsky.social

Today’s Throne Speech was historic — but that isn’t enough. Words won’t solve the housing crisis, protect seniors, or tackle the climate emergency. We need action. Canadians deserve a government that works for everyone — not just the wealthy few. #cdnpoli #ThroneSpeech2025

Sigh. Also Heather McPherson; it's not enough that he's outlined what their priorities are, they need to be completed TODAY... what's wrong with them? Careful, Heather. You're in danger of becoming as 'positive' as Peepee...

Fact: top 3 cities in Canada Don't have a housing crisis...it's a Housing Affordability Crisis...lots of vacant lots and condo units, month after month empty, I see You can't also devalue current housing with million dollar mortgages attached... Too Expensive in big city, Move Canada is Big.

And why don’t people move to other areas where there are affordable homes. Particularly with the ability to work remotely other locations are options. People need to be encouraged to leave large centers. It would benefit small towns.

Because most of us are living pay cheque to pay cheque and are renting and only the big cities have public transport and multiple grocery stores.

I think that's what Canada did, it elected a government we deserve and want. Stop with the sound bites of complaints and roll up your sleeves, work with them and not against them. I think Carney would welcome constructive ideas.

Why not vote for the speech and see if the budget is any good? I don't get it.
