The other deciding factor is whether or not they have functional “parts”. It’s possible a trans woman still has the capability to produce sperm and that leads to loads more problems in a women’s prison.

Which is what happened at a NJ prison where a trans woman impregnated an inmate while housed in the women's prison. I understand a trans woman is at risk in a men's prison, but Harris never had any say in where inmates were placed, so the original claim is simply manufactured bullshit.
