There are a lot of "Why did they sign it in the first place" posts here? There bigger question is "Why the f*** were they given them to sign?" Blame the guilty, not the victims

Not blaming. Absolutely crap they were asked (commanded) to sign. But they were so brave in vacating the state as they did. So I admit, I was a little surprised by them signing. Not critical - just surprised. It made me wonder what kind of pressure was put on them. And whether it was lawful.
