💯 . Anyone who says unironically that older music is better than current music has discoverability issues. But I'm sympathetic because these platforms go out of their way to make good music hard to find in favour of slop.

yep. lots of good stuff out there now, and you can find it despite the slop and crap. and I'm sure people will be making good music 10 years from now, and 30. But will we be able to find it then, or will the zone be fully flooded? I'm not super optimistic....
